GAs & Working Groups

The General Assembly is when everyone gets together and decides what we’re going to do, builds the movement, according to a horizontal leadership structure. Basically, the assembly runs by direct democracy, and there are no leadership positions.

Currently our General Assembly is meeting Wednesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. until ~ 7:30.

During temperate seasons we meet at the Warming House by the skating rink in Kennedy Park. Otherwise, we generally alternate our meeting place between the Nagle Room at the Fall River Main Library and the UNFR meeting room at the G&J Building 209 Bedford St. Please note the number on the side door to call for someone to let you in.

Groups that form to fulfill a certain goal or need of the General Assembly are called working groups.

Our current working groups are Media, Outreach, Move-To-Amend, Sustainability, Direct Action, and Planning.
